The national award winning actor Sanchari Vijay for ‘Naanu Avanalla Avalu’ bagged the Karnataka state film award for best acting while Lakshmi Gopalaswamy gets the female best actress for her performance in ‘Vidaaya’.

Best child actor Master Snehith (Sachin Tenudulkar Alla). The prestigious SR Puttanna Kanagal award goes to Dr Baraguru Ramachandrappa, Dr Rajakumar award of Rs.2 lakhs goes to renowned producer Basanth Kumar Patil, the Dr Vishnuvardhana award for lifetime achievement goes to Suresh Urs, famous editor of South India.

The film ‘Harivu’, ‘Abhimanyu’ and ‘Haggada Kone’ gets first, second and third place in the 2014 Karnataka state film awards announced on Friday evening at Vartha Bhavan.
